ipNX, a leading technology and telecommunications company in Nigeria, collaborated with the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) on 27th November 2025 to celebrate outstanding young student innovators at the Annual Secondary School Essay Competition, held at Commerce House, Victoria Island, Lagos. The Lagos Chambers of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) Annual Secondary School Essay Competition, is a flagship educational initiative designed to nurture the intellectual potential of Nigerian students and equip them with a deeper understanding of economic and business concepts.
This year’s competition explored the timely and futuristic theme: “The Role of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence: Positive and Negative Effects Shaping the Future of the Job Sector in Nigeria” bringing together brilliant students from across Lagos who showcased exceptional writing, critical thinking, and communication abilities. Their essays and debates demonstrated a deep understanding of how rapidly advancing technologies particularly Artificial Intelligence and robotics are reshaping industries and job roles, creating new career pathways, and redefining the future of work in Nigeria.
The competition, organized by LCCI’s Business Education Services and Training (BEST) Unit, was designed to encourage students to explore and discuss critical economic and business issues, sharpen analytical thinking, develop problem-solving skills, and improve their communication abilities.
